As the year comes to a close, we're excited to share the innovative features we've brought to ContractSafe this year. Whether you're looking to gain better visibility into your contracts, automate tedious tasks, or improve collaboration, our latest features were designed to help your team save time and reduce complexity.
In 2024, we focused on 3 areas that mattered most to our customers:
- Better Workflows: We made it easier for different features to work together, like contract types, templates and commenting tools.
- Stronger Performance: We improved how fast and smoothly the platform works, so it's ready for the future.
- Smarter AI: We added simple and useful AI tools that make life easier without overcomplicating your existing processes.
Key Highlights: Making You More Efficient
Automatically categorizing contract types
Figuring out the type of contract was a manual process that took time and could lead to mistakes. Now, our AI identifies and categorizes contract types for you - whether it's service agreements, NDAs, or employment agreements.
Plus, in a brand new feature released this week, AI will scan contracts using the custom contract types you've set and categorize them based on that type. This makes sorting, organizing, and filtering your contracts that much easier.
That's one less administrative task to worry about.
Faster Contract Creation with Intake Forms and Templates
After filling out an intake form with all the necessary contract details, creating a contract is now as simple as choosing the template you'd like to use. Once selected, the template is auto-populated with the details from your intake form. This makes creating, accurate, compliant contracts as simple as ever.
In-App Collaboration with Commenting
Working on a contract with multiple people can turn into a bit of a mess sometimes. After a few email exchanges or in-office chats, details get lost and things get missed. With Commenting, you can leave notes directly on contracts and tag teammates and they'll get notified with a link to the contract. This keeps all discussions in one place, making it easier to track what needs to be done.
Data Insights Right From The Dashboard
You need access to insights to know what's going on in your account to be able to take action and make adjustments if needed. So, we created a new centralized place for you to find your reports, create reports and even be able to see scheduled reports that are going out to your users.
We also launched Contract Metrics. So, rather than running a report or manually looking for changes in contract volume, Contract Metrics helps you visualize your data through adjustable preset filters. And this is just the beginning -- we're already working on even more powerful reporting capabilities.
Faster and Better Performance
We've also made big improvements to how the platform work:
- Faster Loading: Navigation account with large folders is quicker.
- Better Search: Search results are now faster and more accurate.
- Improved Design: Updates to Settings pages make it even easier to use
AI for the Way You Work
AI has been a hot topics, but we're not about hype. Instead, we've focused on building AI tools that fit into your workflow. From identifying contract types to giving you insights, our AI features are here to save you time and make things easier. Here are the most notable releases this year.
Execution Status Recognition (NEW this week!)
With AI, we can extract a lot of fields automatically but a really cool one is execution status. Now, when a contract is uploaded, ContractSafe can know if it's fully, partially or not executed. With this, you won't have to manually track the contract's status or check for updates. Not only does this save time and effort, it also reduces the legal risk of incomplete contracts.
Accuracy Improvements
As AI continues to improve, we're able to use that to help you become more efficient, saving hours of manual review. We've improved our AI data execution accuracy, added more fields (including execution status and custom contract types), and plan to add even more in 2025.
Smart Search
Recently released, Smart Search is a new way to interact with your search bar. It's now smart enough to recognize keyword searches (how you use it today) and plain language searches, sometimes referred to as natural language search. For example, a search like "contracts expiring next year valued over $500" will run the right filters to get you those results.
Flexible and Straightforward Pricing
We've always been very transparent about our prices, but we wanted to make our pricing plans even better and more valuable. So we redesigned our pricing to include 3 plans tailored to different needs and features, regardless if you're managing 50 contracts or 5,000,
Plans start at $375. View all our pricing plans.
Other notable mentions
- Launched an Austrian server to ensure data from our Australian customers is stored and processed locally.
- Introduced pinned columns on the contract list so you can keep your most important details in view without endless scrolling.
- Added related documents to date reminder emails so you can see what's associated with a contract without logging in-saving you time and clicks.
- Enabled commenting for "read-only" users, allowing them to suggest changes or tag others for input, even if they can't edit the contract itself
- Added auto-apply permission to new subfolders, simplifying the process so the right people have access without the need to adjust filter settings.
- Added a "My Companies" feature to the Company Setting page to allow admins to easily manage their list of entity names when creating contracts.
Looking Ahead
As we head into 2025, we're excited to keep building tools that make managing contracts simpler and more efficient. If you're a customer and want to explore how these new features can better support your team, your customer success representative is here to help.
